Blacklist in detail: block.dnsbl.sorbs.net

SORBS List of hosts demanding that they never be tested by SORBS. IPv4

The SORBS (Spam and Open Relay Blocking System) provides free access to its DNS-based Block List (DNSBL) to effectively block email from more than 12 million host servers known to disseminate spam, phishing attacks and other forms of malicious email. The list typically includes email servers suspected of sending or relaying spam, servers that have been hacked and hijacked, and those with Trojan infestations. In an attempt to provide preemptive protection, SORBS also lists servers with dynamically allocated IP addresses.

History for block.dnsbl.sorbs.net (Last 10 Days)

We keep some statistics on blacklists. Below is the graph for block.dnsbl.sorbs.net. We test blacklists by asking them to respond to known IP's that are blacklisted and known IP's that can't be blacklisted. Not every blacklist has such IP's, we test them with what is possible. We keep if we get any response or error messages and the response duration. Lower response times are better. These statistics may be useful for email server administrators to pick which blacklist to use.
