88.blacklist.zap is an internal blacklist maintained by Microsoft's Forefront. Because this list is not a public list we are not able to monitor IP's agains this list. If your IP gets listed the email returned will contain a message similar to the one below:
Client host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX blocked using 88.blocklist.zap; Mail from IP banned. To request removal from this list please forward this message to email@example.com
You may request delisting by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the IP address you want removed from their list.
According to a blogpost by Microsoft the DNSBL resides on dnsbl.forefront.microsoft.com but is not publicly accessable. The DNS query is encrypted so that only Microsoft products can query the DNSBL.
Is the information on our site wrong or incomplete? You don't want us to monitor your blacklist? Or do you operate a similar blacklist? We would like to hear from you!
